Sahyadri Hospital

Sahyadri Hospital in Bopodi has been serving this local area for quite some time now. Bopodi is a busy place, and we sit right in the middle of all that activity. The hospital isn't the biggest one around, but we handle a lot of people every day. It’s the kind of place where the staff knows the names of the people living in the surrounding apartment blocks. We get everything coming through our doors, from minor injuries to people who need to stay for a few days to recover. The waiting room chairs are basic, and the reception desk is usually piled with papers because we’re always kept busy. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the shift changes and new staff come in to take over for the evening. We try to keep the floors clean and the rooms ready, but with so many people coming in and out, it’s a constant task for the cleaning crew. We don’t really do much in terms of promotion or trying to look fancy. People come here because we’re close to home and they know what to expect. There’s a certain rhythm to the day, starting early with the doctors making their rounds and ending late with the night shift keeping watch over the wards. It’s a lot of hard work, but we’re used to it. We just provide a place where neighbors can come when they aren't feeling their best or need a quick check.
