Safety Shoe Pvt. Ltd. is situated out on Mulsi Paud Road. It is an industrial stretch, so we have a lot of big trucks and tempos passing by our gates all day long. It gets quite dusty out here, but that is the nature of being on a main road like this. We have a decent-sized space where we manufacture shoes meant for work environments. It is a noisy place with the sound of the heavy presses and the smell of rubber and glue. We don't have a fancy front office for meetings. Most of our time is spent on the floor making sure the machines are running and the workers have what they need. The commute can be a bit long for some of us, but we are used to it now. We don't go in for big speeches about what we do. We just make shoes that are sturdy enough for people working in factories or on construction sites. The building itself is pretty plain, just brick and metal, but it does the job. During the rainy season, the road outside gets some big puddles, but we stay busy inside. It is just a regular factory setup where we focus on the production numbers and making sure the orders are packed up for the delivery trucks. We have been on this road for a long time and we just keep the work moving as best as we can.
