Royal Pan Shop

Royal Pan Shop is located at 5 Bahu Patil Road. We are part of the Manali Apartment building, right where I B Patel Road meets. It’s a small shop, like most pan shops are, but we stay pretty busy throughout the day. People from the apartments and workers from nearby come by all the time. Being on Bahu Patil Road means there’s a lot of foot traffic, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. The shop isn't much more than a counter and some shelves, but it’s where we spend all our time. We know most of the regulars by name and what they usually like to buy. It’s a simple business, no corporate overhead or complicated systems. We just open up in the morning and stay until late at night. The intersection with I B Patel Road can get a bit jammed with traffic, but that’s just life in this neighborhood. Manali Apartment is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us taking turns behind the counter. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have a small fan that keeps things bearable. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town; we just want to provide what the local people need. It’s an honest way to make a living, right here on the corner of the building.
