RJ MARBLES AND GRANITE PRIVATE LIMITED is tucked away in the Sierra Tower building over in Lokhandwala Complex. If you are familiar with the Akurli Road area in Kandivali, you probably know how crowded it gets around here with all the shops and people. Our office is in the A wing, units 403 and 404. It's where we spend most of our days sorting out orders for granite and marble. It’s a family-style setup, really. We aren’t some massive corporation with hundreds of people; we’re just a small team trying to keep up with the demand for building materials in this part of Mumbai. There is always a lot of dust and noise outside, but inside we just focus on the slabs and the paperwork. We get all sorts of people walking in, from contractors to homeowners who just want a new kitchen counter or some floor tiles. Sometimes we're running late on deliveries because the traffic on Akurli Road is a total nightmare, but we do what we can to stay on schedule. We've been at this address for a bit, and the locals seem to know where to find us. It's a lot of manual work, looking at samples and making sure the colors match up correctly. Stone is heavy, and the logistics of moving it around Kandivali isn't always easy for us. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the stock is right and the customers are happy with the pieces they pick out. No frills, just marble and hard work every single day.
