Rajendra Steel Center

Our shop Rajendra Steel Center is located in Raviwar Peth on the New Cross Road specifically at R V Road Cross 636. If you've ever been to Raviwar Peth you know how narrow and crowded the streets can get especially on market days. We sell all kinds of steel items mostly for kitchens and general household use. The walls are lined with stacks of plates, pots, and containers that shimmer when the light hits them. It can get quite loud in here when we are moving heavy stock around or when customers are negotiating prices. We have been in this location for quite a while now and we know most of the other shopkeepers on the block. It’s a traditional way of doing business where we talk to everyone who walks through the door. Sometimes we don't have exactly what someone wants right away so we have to order it in from the warehouse which takes a day or two. The floor is made of stone and stays cool even when it's boiling outside. We don't use fancy software to track our sales we still mostly use a paper ledger and a pen. It might seem old-fashioned to some people but it works for us and our customers seem to like the personal touch. We just focus on providing solid steel goods that last a long time without making a big fuss about it.
