Rajdeep Automation Pvt.Ltd. is based at Survey 143 on Sinhaghad Road. It’s a well-known area and we’ve been here for quite some time. The building is right where the road gets busy with local traffic. Inside, the atmosphere is all about the machinery and the automation systems we work on. There is usually a lot of clinking of metal and the sound of tools being used. The workspace is large enough to handle the bigger components we deal with. We have a few desks tucked away in the corner for the administrative stuff, but the heart of the place is the workshop area. The concrete floor has some stains from oil and grease, which is expected in this line of work. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. It’s a working shop first and foremost. The windows are high up, letting in some natural light, but we mostly rely on the overhead tubes to see what we are doing. Sinhaghad Road can be a nightmare during rush hour, so many of us arrive early to get a head start on the day’s tasks. We have a small break area with a kettle and some biscuits. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day, just focusing on the mechanics and making sure the systems are built right. We’re just regular people doing our jobs in a busy part of town and trying to keep things running properly.
