We are based at Plot No-51 on Kharadi Road, specifically in Tukaram Nagar. This is a family-run kind of place, as you can probably tell from the name. My father started it and now we are all involved in one way or another. The yard is located at Sarve No-10, and it is usually packed with our earth-moving equipment. Kharadi Road is always growing, so there is plenty of work around here. We spend our mornings checking the engines and making sure the tracks on the excavators are clean. It is dirty work, and we all end up with grease on our clothes by noon. Tukaram Nagar is a decent area, but it gets very dusty with all the construction going on. Our office is a small building right at the edge of the plot. We have an old sofa there where we sit and talk to customers. There isn’t any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum. We do not really do marketing. People just see our machines out on the road and give us a call. It is a straightforward business. We work hard, we fix what breaks, and we try to get home at a decent hour, though that does not always happen during the busy season. It is just us doing what we know how to do. The business has been here a long time.
