Pushpa Edumed Foundation

Pushpa Edumed Foundation is located in the Katraj area, specifically at Survey No 661/8. We are right by Sukhsagar Nagar and Khamkar Garden. It is a pretty busy neighborhood in Pune. The foundation is run out of a simple building. We don't have a lot of space, so we have to be careful how we use it. There are a few rooms where we keep all our materials and books. The garden nearby is nice for a break, though it gets very crowded in the evenings with families. Our daily routine involves a lot of meetings and planning. We don't use any big words to describe ourselves. We just do what needs to be done for the foundation. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Most of the people who work here live close by, so we walk or take a scooter to get in. It feels like a very normal, local office. We have a small kitchen where we make coffee. Sometimes we have to move the furniture around to make room for more people. It isn't a perfect setup, but it’s ours. We spend a lot of time talking to the locals about what they need. It is just a regular day-to-day operation in Katraj. We try to stay organized but things can get a bit messy during the busy weeks.
