Pushadevi Junior College

Pushadevi Junior College is located in Indira Nagar, right near the Pushpa International School. Being in a place like Pune, things are always a bit hurried. Our college is tucked into this corner of the 411037 area. It’s a place where you’ll see students hanging around with their bags, mostly talking about their next big exam or where to get snacks. The building is a few stories high and we use every inch of it. The stairwells are always crowded when classes change over. We don’t have a huge campus, but it’s enough for the teenagers who come here for their higher secondary years. Most of our classrooms have those old wooden benches that have seen better days. You’ll find the teachers in the staff room drinking coffee and talking about the syllabus. It gets pretty hectic during admission season or right before the finals. There’s no big fancy garden, just some space near the entrance where people park their cycles and bikes. The traffic in Indira Nagar can be a headache, so everyone tries to leave right on time. It’s a very normal, local college environment. We deal with the usual student drama and the constant need for more stationery. It’s just how things go here. We’re just part of the local education scene in this part of Pune. We mostly just focus on getting through the day without too many complaints.
