We’ve been running this tool shop in P. J. Chambers for quite a while now. If you walk into our space at No. 9, 10, or 11, you’ll see shelves packed with all sorts of hardware. It’s a bit crowded, mostly because we try to keep everything from small screws to heavy power drills in stock. Pimpri is a busy area and Nehru Nagar Road is always moving, so there is usually someone stopping by for a last-minute bolt or a hammer. We don’t have any fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just a place where we keep the inventory and try to help people find what they need for their repairs. Some days are slow and we just sit and organize the bins, while other days it feels like we can't keep up with the people coming in. The floors get a bit dusty from the construction supplies and the metal parts, but that’s just how it is in a hardware store. We spend a lot of time just checking the lists and making sure the racks are full. My hands are usually a bit dirty from moving boxes around. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit from our spot here in the building, but the need for a good wrench or a sturdy lock stays about the same. It’s a simple setup, just us and the tools, trying to get through the daily list of chores and orders.
