Himalay Ply & Hardware

We are set up over at Survey No. 44 in the Warje Malwadi area of the city. You can find us located right opposite Kakade Terrace, near the Ganpati Matha and not very far from the Damini Hotel. Our shop is a local spot where we have been providing plywood and various hardware items for all kinds of building projects. The shop itself is usually packed with sheets of ply leaning against the walls and boxes of hardware stacked up almost to the ceiling. It can get a little bit crowded inside when we have a few different customers in at once. We spend most of our days cutting wood down to the right size and helping people pick out the hinges or handles for their new cabinets. That involves a lot of sawdust and some heavy lifting every single day. We do not have any big marketing slogans or a fancy storefront to attract people. The sign outside is a little bit weathered from the rain, but most local people know exactly where we are. We start early in the morning when the sun comes up and usually keep going until late in the evening. Warje is a growing place, so there is always someone building something new around here. We just try to keep the most common items in stock so people do not have to go all the way into the main city for small things. Sometimes the deliveries are late, but we manage.
