Proactive Clinic

Proactive Clinic is located inside Vasant Apartment on the first floor. We are at Flat No. 2, which is part of the Sahkar Sadan Path in the Bharati Niwas Colony area of Erandwane. Since we are in an apartment building, it feels a lot more like a home than a sterile hospital. You have to come up the stairs to find us. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s usually quieter than the main roads. We have converted the rooms into a space where we can see patients. There is a small balcony where we keep some plants, and the waiting area is just what used to be a living room. We’ve put in some basic chairs and a table for forms. People from the colony often just walk over when they need a checkup. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us working here most days. We handle general health stuff and try to keep things organized despite the limited space. The kitchen area of the flat is where we keep our supplies and records. It might seem a bit unusual to some to visit a clinic in a flat, but it’s quite common around here. We like the pace of it. It’s not about being the biggest clinic, just about being available for the people in Erandwane who know where to find Flat No. 2. We keep the windows open for a breeze when the weather allows.
