Our lab is right in the middle of Narayan Peth, tucked into Nagarkar Apartment. If you know the area, we are just opposite the post office in Munjoba Lane. It’s a narrow street, typical for this part of the city. We spend our days handling samples and looking at results. It’s quiet work, mostly, except for the noise from the street outside. People come in early for their blood tests before they head off to their own jobs. We keep the place clean and tidy because that’s how a lab should be. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the waiting area, but folks are usually patient. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers know us by name. We aren't a giant corporation; we’re just a local lab doing our part. The equipment we use is what we rely on every single day. We check and recheck things because that is the nature of the job. It’s not the kind of work where you can rush. When the afternoon sun hits the lane, it gets quite bright inside. We usually finish up the main testing by the evening and then spend time getting reports ready. It’s a steady rhythm of work. We appreciate the people who trust us with their health matters, even if it’s just a simple check-up. We keep some old magazines in the corner for those waiting, though most people just look at their phones nowadays. It’s a simple operation, but we take it seriously.
