Pratibha Bapat

My name is Pratibha Bapat and I run things from my place at Kothrud A/20. This isn't a big office building or a corporate suite. It is just where I work from here in Pune. Being in Kothrud is nice because it is a settled neighborhood and everything you need is close by. I have been at this address for a long time and many of the people I work with are local residents. I don't have a team of secretaries or a marketing department. If you call or come by, you are just talking to me. My work is pretty straightforward and I try to keep it that way. I don't like using a lot of jargon or making things more complicated than they need to be. The space at A/20 is small but it serves its purpose for the type of work I do. I usually have my desk piled with papers and my computer going all day long. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello, which is the nice thing about working in a residential area. I have built my reputation just by doing what I say I am going to do. I don't really use social media or do much advertising. Most of my work comes from people I have known for years or someone recommending me to a friend. It is a quiet way to run a business but it works for me and it has kept me busy for quite a while now. I plan to stay here for the long run.
