If you go to Market Yard and look for Bhukhand No 119, that’s where you’ll find us. Prakash Kolhapuri Masale is all about those traditional spice blends that everyone around here knows. We aren't trying to do anything fancy or modern. We just stick to the way things have been done for a long time. The Market Yard is a chaotic place, especially in the mornings when the trucks are coming in. It’s loud, it’s dusty, and it’s always busy. Our place is full of the smell of dried chillies and turmeric. It hits you as soon as you walk in. We spend our days grinding spices and filling bags. It’s hard work and it gets very hot in the summer. We are a small team and we don't have a lot of hierarchy. Everyone just chips in. We chose this spot because it's the heart of the trade here. Being a private limited company doesn't change the fact that we are essentially a local spice shop that grew a bit bigger. We don't have a marketing department or a PR person. We just have our spices and our regulars who come back because they know what they’re getting. It’s just us doing our thing in Market Yard.
