We are located right near the Bank of Maharashtra on the Pune Saswad Road. Prabha Hospital And Pathology Lab has been part of Bhekrai Nagar for a good while. Being in Phursungi means we see a lot of people passing through on their way to the city. We do blood tests and regular hospital work all in one spot, which saves people a trip. The lab is usually the busiest part in the morning because everyone wants their results back fast. We have a couple of rooms for staying over if someone is really sick. The paint on the walls is a light blue, mostly because that’s what was on sale when we last fixed the place up. It gets a bit dusty with the road construction nearby, so we spend a lot of time mopping the floors. Our staff lives close by in Bhekrai Nagar, so we don't have to commute far. We know the local shopkeepers and usually get our supplies from the market down the street. It’s a straightforward operation here. We don't use big words or fancy talk, we just look at the slides under the microscope and tell folks what’s going on. The traffic on Saswad Road can be a headache, but once you get inside, it's just us doing our jobs. We keep the kettle on for the staff, and sometimes the smell of tea drifts into the lab.
