Poona Marble & Ceramics

My shop is over in Pimple Gurav, right on the main road near Shree Sant Abhang Colony. I’ve been running Poona Marble & Ceramics for a bit now. It’s mostly just me and a couple of guys handling the heavy stuff. People come in looking for floor tiles or something for their bathroom. We keep a decent stock of ceramics because everyone around Pavana Nagar seems to be fixing up their houses lately. It gets busy on the weekends, especially with all the traffic on Pimple Gurav Road. Dealing with marble is heavy work, honestly. You have to be careful with the edges or they chip. I try to keep the place organized, though things tend to get a bit dusty with all the stone sitting around. Most folks just want something that looks okay and doesn't cost them their whole life savings. I've lived around here long enough to know what people are looking for. We aren't a big fancy showroom, just a regular spot where you can pick out what you need for your floors. Sometimes we have to wait on deliveries from the suppliers, which can be a pain, but that's just how the business goes. If you’re passing by the colony, you’ll see the stacks of slabs outside. It’s a straightforward operation. Nothing too complicated about it. I usually open up early and stay until the sun goes down, just trying to keep things moving along for the customers.
