We operate out of Flat No 46 in the C Wing of Stone Ridge Society. It’s located in Waghere Colony No 1, over in Pimpri. Pkh Foods And Spices Trading Llp is really just a small-scale operation. We deal with spices and food items, mostly doing the trading part. Our office is basically a room in the flat filled with containers and ledgers. It’s not a big warehouse, just our home base. Pimpri is a busy suburb, and being in a residential society keeps things a bit more grounded. You can often smell the spices if we’ve been sorting through a new shipment of pepper or turmeric. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so we don't have formal meetings. We just talk over tea in the kitchen. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers. Sometimes the neighbors wonder what all the deliveries are about. It’s a lot of checking weights and making sure the quality is what it should be. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us doing everything from the paperwork to the packing. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, especially when a big order comes in, but we make it work. We like the independence of running our own trading business. It’s not fancy, but it pays the bills and keeps us busy. We take things one day at a time.
