Piyush Poly Print

Piyush Poly Print is over in Rasta Peth. We are in Shop Number 2 of Vaishnavi Apartment. It’s right opposite Laxmi Sugandhalaya. That’s a good landmark because people can usually smell the incense from the street when they are looking for us. Our shop is at 247/4. Rasta Peth is an old part of Pune, and it has its own character. We do a lot of printing work, so there’s always the smell of ink and paper around here. It’s a small shop, and sometimes we have to stack the finished jobs on the floor because we run out of shelf space. Vaishnavi Apartment is a nice enough building, though it’s seen better days and needs some repair. We’ve been here since the business started. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. It’s just us and the machines. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the day fixing them ourselves. It’s just part of the job. People from the neighborhood drop in for small tasks, and we also handle some larger stuff that comes in from further away. We aren't trying to be the biggest printer in Pune. We just want to do the work and make sure it’s done right. We close up around eight most nights and head home. It’s a simple, busy life here in Rasta Peth. We like the local feel of the area.
