Pawan Hole Baban

Pawan Hole Baban is tucked away in Raviwar Peth on Bhatar Road. If you know Raviwar Peth, you know the streets can be quite narrow and very busy with all kinds of trade going on. We are right there in the middle of it all. The shop has been around for a long time and it has that old-school feel to it. We don't have much in the way of modern decor. The walls have some old shelves and we have been using the same heavy wooden counter for years. Every day we open up early because the market starts moving before most people are even awake. Bhatar Road sees a lot of foot traffic and people moving goods on carts. It can get very loud with people shouting and horns honking, but we don't mind it much. Our space is filled with the things we sell or work on, so there isn't much room to move around inside. We know most of the neighbors and the other shopkeepers around here. Sometimes we sit out front on a stool when things are slow and watch the people go by. It is a very traditional way of doing business in this part of town. We don't use fancy computers for everything; a lot of the work is still done in handwritten ledgers. It is just the way we have always done things in Raviwar Peth. We stay open until the market starts to quiet down in the evening.
