Padmashree Dr D Y Patil Homeopathic Medical College & Research is situated over in S T Nagar, which is part of Pimpri. It is a place where there is always a lot of activity because of the students and the research going on. We have been here in Pimpri for quite a long time. The college building has that solid, institutional feel to it, with long hallways and plenty of rooms for different classes. It isn't a fancy new campus with glass buildings; it is more of a practical space where people come to learn about homeopathy. S T Nagar is a busy area, so there are always people moving about outside. You see students carrying their bags and books, rushing to get to their lectures on time. Inside, things are usually humming with the sound of discussions or people working in the research areas. The furniture is a bit older, and the desks have seen many years of use. It is a place of study and work, nothing more. We don't go in for big decorations or expensive lobbies. The focus is really just on the day-to-day education happening within these walls. Sometimes the corridors get a bit loud during the breaks between classes. It is just a normal part of life here in Pimpri. We are a familiar sight for the locals who live around S T Nagar. It feels like a small community of its own. We just keep doing our thing every day.
