We are tucked into Shop No 4 inside the Shastri Complex over in Mukund Nagar. If you know the Pune area, you know it can get a bit busy around here during the day. We’ve been running this ENT and endoscopy clinic for a good while now. It isn’t some massive hospital with fancy lobbies, just a practical space where we look at ears, noses, and throats. People come in from the street with all sorts of issues. Some have a stubborn cough that won’t go away, others need their ears cleaned or a check on their sinuses. The endoscopy room is small but it gets the job done when we need a closer look at what’s going on inside. Usually, the waiting area has a few people sitting on the benches reading old newspapers or looking at their phones. We try to keep things moving so no one is stuck there all afternoon. The Mukund Nagar neighborhood has changed a lot, but we are still in the same spot in the complex. It gets a little noisy with the traffic outside sometimes, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly just the sound of the ceiling fan and people talking quietly. We don't do anything flashy here. We just open the doors, see who needs help, and do our work until it's time to close up for the evening. It is a straightforward place for local folks who need a doctor without any extra fuss.
