Olent Sea Food Special

You can find our shop, Olent Sea Food Special, at Raviwar Peth 1195/b. This is a very old part of the city, and the lanes are narrow and crowded. We have been serving fish here for a long time. Every morning, we go to see what the catch is at the market. If the fish isn't good, we don't buy it, so sometimes our daily menu is a bit short. We focus on the local style of frying fish with a lot of garlic and ginger. The kitchen is right there behind the counter, so you can hear the oil popping while you wait. It gets quite smoky in here, but that is just how it is when you're frying fish all day. We have a few small tables, but they fill up fast. Most people don't mind sharing a table with a stranger during the lunch hour. It is a friendly place. The walls are painted a simple blue and we have an old calendar hanging by the door. We don't have a waiter; you just tell us what you want and we bring it out when it's ready. The plates are stainless steel and we serve plenty of lemon wedges. Raviwar Peth is a hectic place to be, but we enjoy the energy of the market. We aren't trying to be a five-star restaurant. We just want to serve a good piece of fried fish to anyone who is hungry.
