Nrityangan

Nrityangan is located inside the Challenger Nursery School building over in Pimpri Asha Nagar. It’s a bit of an interesting setup because we share the space with the little kids during the day. Once the school stuff wraps up, we move in and start our sessions. It smells like crayons and old paper sometimes, but it’s a nice enough place. We’ve been using this spot for a while now because it’s right in the heart of Asha Nagar. Most parents find it easy to drop their kids off since they already know where the school is. The rooms have these small chairs pushed to the sides to make space for the dancing. It’s not a professional stage or anything, just a floor where we can practice. I’m usually the one opening up the gates in the afternoon. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy, but we’re used to it. We keep things pretty casual around here. There’s no dress code or anything formal like that. We just show up and get to work. It’s been good being part of the community in Pimpri. You see the same faces every week, which makes it feel friendly. It’s just us doing what we do in the corner of a school building. It’s quiet in the mornings and then gets really lively once the dance starts in the afternoon.
