Nitco Tiles Ltd

Up at A 304 in Wondercity, which is part of the Anand N Bajikar building area, we manage the Nitco Tiles Ltd business for this part of Pune. We are right on the Mumbai Bypass Road in Katraj. It is a spot where you can always hear the trucks and cars zooming by. The office is inside the Wondercity complex. It feels a bit more like a residence than a shop. We have stacks of catalogs and sample pieces scattered around the room. Pune weather is usually nice. However, the dust from the highway comes in if we aren't careful. We spend the morning answering emails. The afternoon is for dealing with deliveries. It is just a few of us here. We are not a giant team with uniforms. We just wear what is comfortable and get to work. People from the surrounding areas of Katraj come to us when they are building their houses and need flooring. We show them what is available in the books. Sometimes we have to wait for the shipments to come in from the main warehouse. That can be frustrating, but that is how it goes. The Mumbai-Pune traffic can really slow things down. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a tile is out of stock, we just say so. We want the local projects to get what they need. It is a busy little office in a very busy part of the town.
