Nirmiti Clinic

Our place is right inside the Mayur Trade Centre, which is a big building right on the Mumbai Pune Highway in Chinchwad. We are up on the second floor in units 224 to 226. If you are standing outside, we are basically opposite Unique Hospital. It’s a very busy area because of the highway, so there is always the sound of trucks and cars passing by. The clinic is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It has a simple layout with a few rooms and a place for people to sit while they wait. We get a lot of dust from the road, so we are always cleaning the glass and the tables. It is just a regular clinic where we see patients coming in from the nearby parts of Chinchwad. Sometimes the lift in the trade centre acts up, so people end up taking the stairs. We have been here for a while now, and the view from the window is just the highway and the hospital across the street. It’s not a fancy office, just some walls and desks and the medical stuff we need. Most of the people who come in are locals who know the trade centre well. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, the papers start piling up on the desk. That’s just how it goes when you are running a clinic in such a hectic part of town.
