Niche Cutting Tools sits at Plot No 71 in the Chintamani Industrial Estate. We are over in Hadapsar, right near Ramtekdi. If you know the area, you know it is full of small shops and factories. We fit right in. Our shop focuses on tools for cutting, which means there is a lot of sharp metal around. You have to be careful where you step. We have been here for a good while. The building isn't new, but it keeps the rain off the machines. We spend our days grinding and sharpening or talking to customers about what they need for their own shops. It is a lot of manual work. We don't have a big marketing department. Usually, people just see our sign or hear about us from someone else in the industrial estate. The coffee here isn't great, but it keeps us going in the mornings. We have a small group of workers who have been with us through thick and thin. We try to keep things organized, but when we have a big order, the floor gets a bit cluttered. That is just how it goes when you are busy. We like the Hadapsar area because it is easy for our suppliers to get to us. We are just a small outfit trying to do a decent job every day and keep the blades sharp for everyone.
