New India School

New India School is over in Bhusari Colony, right opposite the PMT Bus Depot on Paud Road in Kothrud. If you know Kothrud, you know that the bus depot is a major hub. There’s always the sound of buses pulling in and out, which we’ve just gotten used to over the years. Our school has been a fixture in this colony for a long time. It’s a very traditional neighborhood feel here. We don’t use any of that fancy marketing talk because we don’t need to. Everyone around here knows us and where we are. The building is solid and has seen many generations of students pass through its doors. I spend my days in the office or walking the halls checking on things. It’s not a quiet, secluded campus; it’s right in the heart of the community. We deal with the usual school stuff—lost sweaters, forgotten homework, and busy mornings with parents dropping off their kids. Paud Road is always humming with energy. We have a small staff and we all know each other well. It’s an honest place. We aren't trying to be something we’re not. We just provide a place for the kids in the colony and nearby areas to come and learn every day. It’s practical, it’s a bit noisy because of the depot, and it’s just how we like it. It feels like home for us.
