You can find New India Chicken Centre over in Yerwada at Jivrajpark, right at Sr No 12. It’s a local place where we handle fresh poultry for the families living around here. We’ve been in this specific spot for quite a while now. The shop is pretty basic, just the counters and the equipment we need to do the work. It’s a messy job, there’s no way around that, but we keep things moving as fast as we can. My uncle started this and now a few of us work here together. We get our deliveries early in the morning before the sun is even up. Most of our day is spent prepping orders for people who walk in or call ahead. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the knives are going and people are talking over each other. We don't have any fancy signs or a big storefront. It's just a practical shop for people who need chicken for their dinner. We try to be honest about what we have and get people on their way. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but we’re still right here at the same address. Sometimes it’s tiring being on your feet all day, but it’s steady work. We just do our thing and go home when the stock is gone. It is a simple business for our family and we keep it going.
