Being situated near the Old Pune Mumbai Highway means there is always a sound of engines in the background. My place at Sansarpur Terrace is where I spend most of my daylight hours. It’s a decent spot, even if the dust from the road gets everywhere if we leave the windows open too long. I’ve lived around Pune for a long time, so I’m used to the pace here. The terrace gives a bit of a breeze in the evenings which is nice after a hot afternoon. Usually, I start early, around eight, and get the basic cleaning out of the way first. It’s not a big operation. Just me and the work that needs doing. Sometimes neighbors stop by to chat about the traffic or the weather. The building itself is older, but it holds up well. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat it while watching the cars go by on the highway. There’s something about being near a main road that makes you feel like you’re in the middle of everything, even if you’re just doing your own quiet thing. I don’t really bother with big signs or anything. People who need to find me usually know where to look or they ask around the neighborhood. It’s a straightforward life, honestly. No complaints about it. Just keeping my head down and getting through the list of tasks for the day. It's a simple routine that works for me.
