National Earth Movers

We are located over at Gujarwadi Phata in Katraj, specifically at Plot No. 286/1. It is easy to find if you know the house number 144/4. National Earth Movers has been sitting here for a good while, mostly working with the big yellow machines you see parked out front. Usually, it is just a couple of us handling the calls and making sure the operators know where to go for the day. Moving soil and rocks is what we spend our time on. It gets pretty dusty around the office, especially in the dry months. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It's just a yard with some equipment and a small place to sit and talk business. We take on jobs around the area, mostly small construction sites or people needing their land cleared of brush and stones. The machinery can be stubborn sometimes, so there is always a bit of repair work going on. My brother and I started this because there was a lot of building happening nearby. We just wanted to stay busy and work for ourselves. Most days are long and involve a lot of checking on oil levels and tracks. We don't promise anything crazy, we just show up and do the digging until it is finished. It is a simple way to make a living and we like being part of the local community here in Katraj.
