Carewell International

Carewell International is situated at No. 597 in Narayan Peth. If you know the area, we’re right near Appa Balwant Chowk and directly opposite the Mandar Lodge. If you’ve ever been to Narayan Peth, you know how narrow the lanes can be and how crowded it gets with shoppers and students. Our building is one of those older ones that has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit steep. We work out of here every day, dealing with various international and local health-related supplies. The space is always humming with the sound of fans and the distant noise from the street below. We have shelves lined with files and product samples everywhere you look. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but there’s a system to the madness. We spend most of our time communicating with people from different parts of the country. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on, which is just part of being in this part of town. We’ve been here long enough to see the shops around us change hands many times, but we’ve stayed put. We don’t go in for big speeches or fancy slogans. We just show up, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up to a full day’s work. We just try to be decent people to deal with.
