Nandini Plastic & Molding

Our workshop is at Gate No. 317 in the village of Sortapwadi. We’re right near the Gram Panchayat Office, so we’re pretty easy to find if you’re in the village. We do plastic molding work here. It’s a rural area, so things move a bit slower than in the city, which we don’t mind at all. We have our machines set up and we spend the day making various plastic items. It’s a lot of work with molds and heating up materials. Sometimes it gets a bit messy, but that’s the nature of the job. We aren't a big factory with hundreds of workers. It’s a small operation. We know everyone in the village and they know us. We’ve been here for a good while, and we just keep doing what we know. There’s no corporate hierarchy here. We all just muck in and do what needs to be done. Whether it’s loading the truck or fixing a leak, we handle it ourselves without complaining. We don’t have a website or a marketing person. If people need molding done, they just come by the gate and talk to us directly. It’s a very direct way of doing business. We appreciate the quiet of Sortapwadi, even if the work itself is a bit noisy. It’s just us, our machines, and the daily routine we've built over the years. We don't have a plan to change much, just to keep going as we are.
