Nakoda Steel Centre

Nakoda Steel Centre is located at Survey No 524/25 in the Timber Market area of Bhawani Peth. We are right on Narsi Natha Street, just across from where the Sonmarg Cinema used to be. The whole area is quite dusty and there is always a lot of noise from the trucks and the other shops nearby. We deal mostly in steel products, so our space is filled with heavy rods, metal sheets, and all sorts of industrial pieces. It is hard physical work, and we are usually covered in a bit of rust and dust by the time lunch rolls around. We supply a lot of the small fabrication shops and builders who work in this part of town. We don’t have a fancy front office or any air conditioning. It’s a working warehouse where the main goal is moving metal from one place to another. Some days are completely chaotic when the big shipments arrive, and we have to scramble to find space on the floor. We know most of the guys on the street, and we’ve been here long enough to see the market change quite a bit. There’s no big promotional talk here, we just weigh the steel and help the drivers load up their tempos. It’s a tough, loud environment, but it’s what we know how to do. We just focus on keeping the inventory moving and making sure the counts are right for our customers.
