Muskan Chicken Centre

Being up on the 1st floor here at Avenue Road 3 in Viman Nagar makes things a bit different for us. Muskan Chicken Centre is where we spend most of our daylight hours. Carrying everything up the stairs is a real workout, that is for sure. We get the chickens in early in the morning and then the real work starts. It is a lot of cutting and cleaning to get things ready for the day. People come by looking for specific pieces for their dinner and we just do our best to get it ready for them while they wait. Viman Nagar is always moving fast, but up here on the first floor it is a bit more tucked away. You have to know where we are to find us. We do not do much talking, mostly just focusing on the knives and making sure everything is handled properly. The floor gets washed down a lot because you have to keep things tidy in this kind of business. It gets loud with the fans running and people shouting orders over the noise of the street below. We have been at this for a bit now. Sometimes we run out of certain cuts early if it is a Sunday and everyone is cooking at home. That is just how it goes. We do not have a big team, just a few of us working together. You get used to the smell of the shop and the way the day flows. We just stay here until the last bit is sold and then we clean.
