Mte Societys Dhondumama Sathe Homeopathic Medical College is located at F P No 23, just off Karve Road in the Erandwane area of Pune. Being a medical college, the atmosphere here is a bit more serious than a primary school. We are tucked away slightly from the main Karve Road, which is one of the busiest streets in Pune, but you can still hear the hum of the city from the classrooms. The building is quite old and has that traditional academic look to it. We have several floors dedicated to different departments like anatomy, pharmacy, and the clinical side of homeopathy. There’s a library where students spend a lot of their time studying for exams. The college has been around for a long time, so many people in Erandwane know the name Dhondumama Sathe. It’s a very functional campus without any flashy modern architecture. We have a lot of students coming from different parts of Maharashtra to stay in nearby hostels or flats. The staff in the office handles all the paperwork and university regulations. It’s a straightforward place of learning. We don’t have any fancy brochures that talk about missions or visions; we just focus on the curriculum and making sure the students get their clinical hours in. It’s a busy place with a lot of future doctors walking the halls, but it’s essentially just a local institution doing its part in the medical field.
