Momin Chicken Center

The shop stays open quite late because Viman Nagar is always moving. I started Momin Chicken Center because people around here need fresh meat for their homes and the local restaurants. It is a small place, nothing too special to look at from the outside, but we keep the counters scrubbed down. Every morning the birds arrive and then the work starts. There is a lot of cutting and cleaning to do. My staff and I stay busy with the knives, making sure the pieces are exactly how the customers ask for them. Some people want curry cut, others want boneless, and we just do it while they wait. You see the same faces every week, mostly neighbors or cooks from the nearby cafes. The floor gets wet from the cleaning but that’s just how a butcher shop is. Sometimes it gets crowded in the evenings and people have to stand outside on the pavement for a bit. We don't really do much advertising, people just know we are here. It can be tiring standing all day, and the noise of the traffic outside is constant, but it is good work. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure nobody has to wait too long. It is just a simple neighborhood shop where we try to do a decent job every day without any fuss.
