Modern Jr College

Modern Jr College is based in the Mahalaxmi Building, unit F-7, over in the Bijalinager area of Chinchwad. Pune is a city full of students, and our little corner is no different. The building isn't very new, and you can hear the sounds of the traffic from the street coming through the windows. We have classrooms filled with desks that have been written on by many students over the years. It’s a busy place during the term. You’ll see teenagers hanging around the entrance before classes start or rushing to finish their lunch at the nearby stalls. We don't have a massive campus with grass and trees. It’s more of a functional urban space where people come to learn and pass their exams. The hallways can get a bit crowded when the bell rings and everyone moves at once. We spend our time checking attendance, preparing for the next set of lectures, and trying to keep the place organized. Sometimes the chalk dust gets everywhere, and the printers jam right when you need them most. It’s a very normal school environment. Parents come in to talk about grades, and there’s always a bit of stress when exam season rolls around. We just keep the doors open and try to get through the curriculum day by day. It’s a straightforward life in the middle of a busy industrial and residential suburb like Chinchwad, and we like it that way.
