Modern College Of Arts Science & Commerece is right in the heart of Shivajinagar in Pune. If you know Pune, you know how busy Shivajinagar gets. There are people everywhere, buses moving constantly, and lots of small shops selling snacks and stationery. The college is a big place with several different buildings for the different subjects. It feels like a small city inside a big one. You have students from all over Maharashtra coming here. Some are studying science, while others are into arts or commerce. The hallways are always crowded during the breaks between lectures. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it. The canteen is usually the loudest spot, filled with students drinking tea and talking about their exams. We have some old trees on the campus that have seen many generations of students pass through. The benches under them are almost always occupied. It’s not a quiet or calm place, but it has a lot of energy. The administrative office is always full of people asking for forms or submitting papers. We try to keep up with the paperwork, but there’s always a lot to do. In the monsoon, the whole place smells like wet concrete and earth. It’s a typical Pune college experience, with nothing hidden or overly polished about how we run things here. There is always someone looking for a missing lecture hall or a cup of tea.
