We are set up at No. 103 in the Great Easter Retreat building. It’s located on Lakaki Road, which is part of the Model Colony area. It’s a bit quieter around here compared to the industrial zones, which is nice. Our office is where we handle all the ceramic business, from looking at new designs to managing the accounts. We have stacks of tiles and ceramic samples around the room, sometimes making it a bit hard to walk around without bumping into something. The windows look out over a bit of greenery, which is a nice change of pace. We aren't a huge corporation with layers of management; it’s just a few of us making sure things get done. People stop by to see the different finishes, and we usually just let them browse without hovering. We’ve been in Model Colony for a while now and have seen many new buildings go up in the neighborhood. Our daily routine involves a lot of phone calls and checking on shipments. Sometimes things get delayed at the port or on the road, and we have to figure out how to fix it. It’s just the reality of the ceramic trade. We try to keep things simple and honest with everyone who walks through the door. It’s a steady job and we like the location because it’s easy for people to find us without getting lost in the city. There is always a lot of heavy lifting involved with moving tile boxes around.
