This unit of ours is also at Pirangoot, specifically S. No. 1073/1-2-3 in the Mulshi area. It’s a pretty rural spot if you’re used to the city. Working here at Minilec India Pvt. Ltd. feels different than being in a crowded industrial estate in Mumbai or Pune. We have a lot of space, and the hills of Mulshi are right there in the background. The work we do involves a lot of technical components, but the way we run things is very down-to-earth. The building itself is sturdy and has been through many monsoons. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of machines and people chatting while they work. We don't really go for fancy office furniture or decorations. We have what we need to get the job done, and that’s about it. Most of us have been working here for years, so we’ve become a bit like a family. We eat our lunch outside when the weather is nice. It’s a bit of a trek for some of the managers who live in the city, but they don't seem to mind the drive. We don't spend much money on advertising or big signs. People who need what we make usually find us through word of mouth or long-standing relationships. It’s a quiet, busy life out here in Pirangoot, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep our heads down and keep working on whatever comes our way next.
