Merit Academy

Merit Academy is based over in Bibwewadi. It's a place where we focus on teaching students and getting through the syllabus. There’s always a lot of noise with kids coming in and out for their batches. We have different classrooms set up, though they aren't anything fancy. Just benches, boards, and books. We started this in Bibwewadi because it's a central spot for many families living around here. Most of our day is spent explaining math problems or going over science notes. It gets pretty crowded in the evenings when school lets out. We don’t have a big corporate office; it’s just the teaching space where we spend most of our time. The staff here are mostly local people who know the subjects well. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed so the students don't feel too much pressure, even though there's a lot to learn. Sometimes we stay late to help someone who is struggling with a particular chapter. It's a lot of work keeping track of everyone's progress. We use simple notebooks and registers to keep things organized. There are no big signs or bright lights, just the name on the door. People in the neighborhood know where we are. It’s a straightforward setup. We focus on the lessons and making sure the students show up on time. That's pretty much what goes on here every single day and we like it that way. It keeps us on our toes and connected to the neighborhood families.
