Mercedes-Benz International School

Working at Mercedes-Benz International School in MIDC Phase-1 is a bit different than being in the city. Out here in Rajeev Gandhi Infotech Park, everything is about tech and big glass buildings. Our place at P-26 is right in the thick of it. You see all the IT employees rushing to work while we are getting things ready for the day. It’s a large campus and keeping track of everything takes a lot of walking. I spend most of my time moving between the different blocks. The air feels a bit different out here, maybe because there’s more space between the buildings compared to the old town. We have people from all over coming through these gates. It’s not just about the name on the sign; it’s about the people who show up every morning. The security guys at the gate know everyone’s face by now. We don’t really do the whole corporate talk thing even though we are surrounded by big companies. We’re just a school trying to get through the week. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, just like anywhere else in Pune. We just deal with it and keep going. The walk from the main road can be a bit long if you’re on foot, but most people have their own transport. It’s a busy corner of the world, and we just fit into the daily grind of the MIDC.
