Mata Premlata Tiwari Higher Secondary School

Our school, Mata Premlata Tiwari Higher Secondary School, is over in the Vishrantwadi area of Pune. Specifically, we are at Plot 8 on Lane 7-F. It’s tucked between Dhanori and Tingre Nagar, so we get people from all those spots. The pin code here is 411015. It is a higher secondary school, which means the students are a bit older and the days are longer. The building at Plot 8 is pretty functional. We have the standard classrooms and a space for the staff to sit. Lane 7-F isn't the widest road, but it gets the job done for the morning rush. You can find us easily once you get into the Vishrantwadi neighborhood. The local shops nearby are where we usually grab a tea or some snacks. It feels very much like a neighborhood school. There is no big corporate office here, just us managing the daily activities. We have desks that have been used for years and walls that have seen plenty of posters. It gets a bit dusty when the wind blows from Dhanori side, but we manage. The atmosphere in Tingre Nagar is mostly residential, so it stays fairly calm during the middle of the day. We are just a group of people working together to keep the school running. It’s not a complicated life. We show up, do the work, and go home. There is always some small repair to do, but that is part of the job.
