Maratha Cheken Centre

We are located over in Yerwada, specifically at the 12th Cross in the Someshwara Nagar area. If you spend any time near the Bhaji Mandai, you probably know the spot because it gets quite busy around there with all the vegetable sellers and people finishing their daily shopping. Maratha Cheken Centre isn't a big corporate place or anything like that. It is just a local shop where we handle things the way they’ve always been done in this neighborhood. Most of our days start pretty early before the sun gets too hot, getting everything set up while the market is still waking up. The 12th Cross can get a bit tight with scooters and carts moving around, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze getting through. We see a lot of the same neighbors every day, people who have lived in Yerwada for years. It’s a noisy part of town, especially when the market is in full swing, but we like being right in the middle of it all. Sometimes the rain makes the ground a bit messy outside the shop, but that’s part of being near the mandai. We don't spend much time on decorations or fancy signs. Most people just know us by where we are situated. It’s a straightforward business, and we just try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long in the heat. It is just us working here every day.
