Mangaldeep Higher Secondary School

Being on the 5th Floor of Sohrab Hall means we see a lot of the city from up here. Mangaldeep Higher Secondary School is right in the thick of things near Pune Station. It is quite a convenient spot if you are coming by train, though the station road is always packed with people and rickshaws. The lift in the building gets a real workout when the morning bell is about to ring. We have students coming from all different parts of Pune because of the central location. It’s not like a sprawling campus with big fields; it’s more of an urban school where every bit of floor space counts. We have our classrooms lined up along the hallways and a small office where we handle the admissions and fees. Sometimes the noise from the traffic downstairs reaches us, but usually, it’s just the sound of pens scratching on paper or a teacher explaining a math problem. It’s a busy environment. We don’t have much time for fluff here. The focus is mainly on getting the older kids ready for their exams and whatever comes after school. You’ll see students hanging out near the entrance of Sohrab Hall before classes start. It’s just a regular school day for us, trying to stay on top of the schedule. The hallways can get a bit cramped during the breaks, but that is just how it goes in a busy city building like this one.
