Mambra Home Appliances is located in Mahananta Wadi within the Vaynat district. It’s a local shop where we spend our days surrounded by all kinds of gadgets for the house. You’ll find us mostly dealing with things like mixers, stoves, and other bits and pieces people need for their kitchens. The shop isn't huge, so we have to be clever about how we stack the boxes to make sure there is still room for people to walk around. It gets quite busy on the weekends when folks from the surrounding villages come into the wadi to do their shopping. We spend a lot of time explaining how the different models work and helping people pick something that fits what they need. Sometimes we have to handle repairs too, so there might be a disassembled fan or a toaster on the counter being looked at. The air in Vaynat can get quite humid, so we try to keep the shop as airy as we can. We’ve been part of this community for a while now, and we know most of the people who walk through the door. It’s a friendly atmosphere, not like those big stores in the city where nobody knows your name. We just focus on getting the right appliance into the right hands and making sure everyone leaves with what they were looking for when they stepped in. It is just our daily routine.
