Makhdum Higher Seondary School

We are located at Gat No 1432 on the Lohegaon Wagholi Road. This part of Lohegaon has seen a lot of growth recently, but we’ve been here through most of it. As a higher secondary school, we have older students who are preparing for their big exams. The building is quite large to accommodate all the different classes. It’s a practical space, mostly concrete and functional. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. When you walk in, you’ll likely see teachers carrying stacks of papers or students heading to their next room. The road outside can get quite dusty because of all the construction nearby, so we spend a lot of time sweeping the floors. We have a small staff room where we sit and plan our lessons over tea. Most of our students live in the surrounding areas and take buses to get here. It’s a straightforward environment without any corporate polish. We just focus on the curriculum and making sure the students understand their subjects. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or minor repairs to the building, but we just get on with it. It’s a busy life here in Lohegaon, and we are just a small part of it. We aren't interested in being the most famous school, just a place where the work gets done every day.
