Mahavir Marbles & Granites

Mahavir Marbles & Granites is situated at 381/12 Shivaji Road, right near the Old Motor Stand in Pune. Our shop is filled with various types of stone slabs that we spend the day moving and showing to people. It’s heavy work, and you can’t really do it without getting a bit of dust on your clothes. The location on Shivaji Road is quite central, so there is always a lot of noise from the street. We have stacks of marble and granite in different shades leaning against the walls. It isn't a fancy setup at all, just a functional space where we handle the inventory and talk to customers. The Old Motor Stand is a landmark that helps everyone find us easily. I’ve been around stone for a long time, and I know how heavy and cold it can be. We don't use any corporate language or have any big slogans. We just sell the stone and help people pick what they need for their floors or counters. The shop has a small area for a desk, but most of the room is taken up by the slabs. It gets pretty warm in the middle of the day, but we just keep the fans going and stay on our feet. Most of the people who come in are locals or contractors working on nearby buildings. We just provide the materials and get on with the next task. It’s a straightforward way to run a business.
