Macro Machineries (India)

Our place is over at Bhosari T 28/B. It's a standard industrial shed, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Macro Machineries (India) has been running from this spot for quite some time. We spend most of our hours looking at blueprints and working with different types of machines. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings by midday. We try to keep things organized, but when you're busy, things tend to pile up. Most of us here have been working with tools since we were young. It’s what we know. We don't spend much on advertising or making things look pretty. The focus is always on the machines and getting them to run right. Some days are slow and we just clean up the equipment, while other days we’re working late to finish a specific order. The noise is constant, but you get used to it after a week. Sometimes customers come in with parts that are totally worn out, and we see what we can do to help. Being in Bhosari means we’re surrounded by other workshops, so there’s always someone nearby if we need a specific bolt or a bit of advice. It’s a community of makers and fixers. We take our breaks together and talk about the news or the weather. It's just a regular job for us, and we try to do it right without making a big fuss or using corporate talk. We just keep the gears turning every day.
